Summer Programme Proves Popular

The Cardiff Table Tennis Summer Camps all proved to be popular with Academy Schools Whitchurch and Cathays hosting Summer Festivals, St.Mellons Table Tennis Club hosting a South Wales Development Camp and Sport Caridff holding a One Year to Go Festival down the Mermaid Quay at Cardiff Bay.

Cathays High School Table Tennis Academy held the first Summer Camps and proved to be very successful with a packed out gym with players come from all over Cardiff to take part in the fun Table Tennis Festival, Primary children joined in with some of Cathays Academy players along with players from across Cardiff

St.Mellons Table Tennis Club Held the South Wales Development Camp which proved to be a great camp with Two Welsh Regional Coaches running the sessions and some great practise partners on hand to give their own knowledge and to practise with some of the up and coming talents of the Cardiff Area. Yongbo Zhang from China and Daniel OConnell of Wales where present along with Welsh Squad players Ryan Oyler , Jac Jenkins, Callum Evans and Jonathan Bisp.
Whitchurch Table Tennis Festival was also a big hit with not only players from whitchurch gaining some very valuable experiance from coaches who attended. This is a very big School Academy and has shown just how far its come after one year with the school now looking to enter the Team Championships of Wales.
