On Tuesday 8th February the first Cardiff Schools Table Tennis League took place at Cathays High School.
This saw over 40 participants representing 4 Schools in the West of Cardiff Region.
Schools present were
Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf - Girls year 7&8 x 2 , Boys Year 7&8, Boys Year 9,10 and 11
Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Plasmawr - Boys Year 9,10 and 11
Cathays High School - Girls Year 7&8 x 2 , Boys Year 7&8 , Boys Year 9,10 and 11
Whitchuch High School - Girls Year 7&8 , Boys Year 7&8 , Boys Year 9,10 and 11
Each Team has 4 players in each team per catagory with two players per team in the girls catagory.
At present Whitchurch sit top of the table in both Year 7 & 8 Girls and Year 7 & 8 Boys, Whitlst Cathays are close followers in both and are heading up the Year 9,10 and 11 Table.
